A monthly NYC meetup for science enthusiasts to learn, share projects, and socialize. We believe science is for everyone, and we try to make it accessible to all.
About once a month, we send out an email with the latest news, events, and updates from the decentralized science community in NYC.
We're entering an era where groundbreaking scientific research isn't limited to traditional institutions. Using O1 Pro, Claude 3.5, and AlphaFold 3, I'm unlocking new possibilities in research methodology. In this talk, I'll demonstrate how these tools are transforming the scientific process - from hypothesis generation to experimental design to literature analysis. I'll share real examples from my work, including unexpected discoveries and practical techniques anyone can use to contribute to scientific advancement. Most importantly, I'll discuss how to navigate the strengths and limitations of these tools to ensure rigorous, reproducible research.
